Celebrating World Wetland Day

All birdwatchers out there, we have the wetlands to thank for such wonderful birding we get to do in India during the winter season!

Wetland: A land area that is saturated with water, either permanently or seasonally, such that it takes on the characteristics of a distinct ecosystem. In India, wetlands are where many of the migratory birds from other countries stop over in winter.
