Chinkara and blackbuck abound in this area. Quails can be sighted too. The most abundant bird here is the partridge (teetar). Partridges almost seem to fall out of trees.

Vegetation is mostly the typical scrub hardy wiry trees like khair, babhul, with small leaves and thorns. Then there are the typical trees like kaal, khejri and ker.
